Since the domestication of horses there have been countless training methods used. Strong handed traditions have prevailed for centuries. These training tactics ultimately break the horse, undermining its natural willingness. Techniques that promote horses innate curiosity encourage them to respond to leadership. We like to start horses by embracing positive experiences as a method of teaching with love, understanding, and patience. Although horse training is no easy feat, we try to help our horses succeed by nurturing a bond between horse and rider. We journey together on a goal that is the same, that love would be extended.
Our horses are born and raised as nature intended, in wide open spaces. Ranch life exposes them to many varieties of stimuli which makes them smarter, calmer, and more aware of their environment. They are comfortable in their own skin.
